We heard and saw the accident. The deputy was traveling on Laurel - went through the stop sign, hit 2 vehicles before hitting the plow truck. No sirens - and apparently going at a high rate of speed - not slowing down. The only thought we had was that he must have had some kind of medical event. That intersection is near the police department and the road seemed to be in good condition (dry, not ice packed). For part of this afternoon we were wondering how come there had been no sirens from the ambulance that took him away and worried that the result was a fatality. Hope that the deputy recovers fully. Prayers with him. This happened early afternoon.
BDD is learning not to post information until they know the facts. Nothing wrong with that, is there? Better to wait than get b****** at about false information, right?
