Assistant Crow Wing County Attorney Janine LePage was presented with the Minnesota County Attorneys Association (MCAA) Professional Achievement Award at the Minnesota County Attorneys Association annual meeting last week. This award is presented to an assistant county attorney who has dedicated significant time and skill to the advancement of the profession.
Association officials said LePage’s passion for her work in the child protection field is very evident. She has been with the Crow Wing County Attorney’s Office for 16 years and has dealt with more than 2,000 cases. In a statement, association officials said her desire to work with families in the child protection arena is unquenchable and her love of kids and their safety has been of the utmost importance.
Association officials said LePage readily shares her knowledge and passion with professionals in the field of child welfare and child protection.
“Janine deserves recognition for her tireless efforts to sweep down walls of resistance in creating a better, safer world for children in Crow Wing County and throughout Minnesota” concluded newly elected President Don Ryan.
The Minnesota County Attorneys Association is the statewide organization of county attorneys providing training and organizational services to county attorneys’ offices throughout Minnesota.
