Saatoff music scholarship established at Brainerd Public Schools Foundation
A scholarship was created in the memory of David Saatoff for a Brainerd High School (BHS) music student.
Additional contributions in his honor can be mailed to the Brainerd Public Schools Foundation (BPSF), 804 Oak St., Brainerd, MN, 56401, and it will be added to the scholarship amount to be awarded to a BHS music student on May 22.
The BPSF board of directors consists of: Kevin Thesing, Jill Carlson-Ferrie, Debby Erickson, Michael Doran, Terry McCollough, Angie Nelson, Jennie Pelowski, John Raboin, Don Ryan, Mike Youngquist, Pat Altrichter, and Todd Vanek. Ex-officio members include: Jill Neumann, executive director, Reed Campbell, school board liaison, and Steve Razidlo, Brainerd School District superintendent.
The mission of the Brainerd Public Schools Foundation is to support the students and teachers of the district by connecting alumni and our community. The foundation assists in enhancing learning opportunities in the areas of academics, activities, the arts, and athletics through sustainable scholarships and grants.
