NISSWA — The Nisswa Women of Today will host an information pizza party for potential Miss Nisswa Scholarship Pageant contestants at 2 p.m. Dec. 9, at the Nisswa Community Center.
The scholarship pageant is open to high school senior girls living within an eight-mile radius of downtown Nisswa or who attended Nisswa Elementary School.
Information about the pageant will be shared at the meeting. Potential contestants don’t have to make a decision to participate in the pageant that day.
Former Nisswa student Bailey Wachholz, current Miss Minnesota’s Outstanding Teen and former Miss Brainerd Lakes Outstanding Teen, is ineligible to compete in the Miss Nisswa pageant because she currently holds a title.
The pageant will be at 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 15, at Nisswa Lutheran Church of the Cross.
