AUSTIN, Minn. (AP) — Austin police say a blind pug that went missing this week has been found after its owner discovered someone trying to sell it on Facebook.
Police say the dog disappeared on Saturday and ended up for sale online for $300.
Police Capt. Dave McKichan says it appears the dog got loose, and whoever found it tried to sell it.
An Austin Daily Herald report (http://bit.ly/WqHfG4 ) the owner saw the ad and called police. Officers recovered the dog and returned it to its owner.
No citations have been issued.

Figures. Someone tries to profit from anothers loss and gets no citation. They should fine the clown the same amount if not more that what he was trying to get for the pooch. That's the problem these days. No pain in getting caught. It's like getting a warning instead of a speeding ticket. If cops actually gave out tickets and the fine was say $500.00 or more, you could bet people would slow down. This loser should have been cited for trying to make a fast buck off this poor lost or more than likely stolen little dog.
