Minor injury in Baxter collision
A domino effect of collisions involving three vehicles occurred at approximately 7:55 a.m. on Wednesday just north of Excelsior Drive in front of Gander Mountain the Baxter Police Department reported.
The vehicle driven by 18-year-old Sheraden Grosskreutz, Backus, was driving southbound on Highway 371 when she struck the vehicle in front of her that was stopped at a traffic light.
The second vehicle, driven by Jessica Schwartz, 27, Brainerd, was then forced into the rear of a third vehicle also stopped at the lights in front of her, driven by 55-year-old John Derksen, Pequot Lakes.
Schwartz drove herself to the Essentia Hospital in Brainerd after experiencing pain in her head and back according to the report. No other injuries were reported.
All drivers were wearing seat belts at time of collision.
