Around midnight Tuesday, Republican Ronald Kresha had a slight lead over Adrian Welle for the House District 9B seat.
With 32 out of 55 precincts in, Kresha had 8,354 votes or 53.48 percent and Welle, running as a democrat, had 7,251 votes of 46.42 percent. There were 16 write-ins.
