St. Francis ice cream social Wednesday
St. Francis of the Lakes Catholic School students will conduct an ice cream social as an incentive to attaining a goal of fundraising over $40,000 for their school marathon. The ice cream social will take place at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday
Students and their families were given a goal of raising funds of $40,000 to attain the Culver’s Ice Cream Social. In addition, stretch incentives were set at $43,000 for three out of uniform days and $45,000 is rewarded with a Residency from Stages Theatre Company. All three goals were reached and a date is to be set for the Residency Program.
Saint Francis Catholic School currently has 240 students in preschool through 8th grade. The school is located in north Brainerd.
