Grand View Lodge to host American Red Cross blood drive
NISSWA — The American Red Cross is coming to Nisswa this month and asking all local businesses to consider partnering with Grand View Lodge, which is donating the space and canteen for the event.
The blood drive is planned noon to 6 p.m. Oct. 23 in the Gull Lake Center at Grand View Lodge. Any businesses interested in blood donation should contact Sue Manders at susan.manders@grandviewlodge.com or at 218-963-8758. Participants are asked to contact Manders by Oct. 19, to ensure staffing support by the Red Cross.
In an effort to say thank you to all donors, Grand View Lodge is offering each donor an entry into a drawing to receive one of the following: two 18-hole rounds of golf for two at The Pines or The Preserve, two dinners for two at the Lodge Dining Room, two one-hour massages at Glacial Water Spa, or one overnight stay for four with breakfast.
Also, if a donor brings a friend, they’ll receive two entries into the drawing.
One pint can save three lives, according to the American Red Cross.
