Weekend fire calls range from crash to flames
Firefighters responded to a call for a crash with injuries at 1:40 a.m. Saturday on Leisure Lane. The Brainerd Fire Department assisted North Memorial Ambulance and the Crow Wing County Sheriff’s office at the scene.
At 9:50 p.m. Saturday, the fire department responded to a general fire alarm at The Hubb on East Laurel Street but were cancelled en route.
Early Sunday, at 4:19 a.m., firefighters were called to a report of a small fire in a room in a residence on Bernard Road just off the Gould Grey Road. The fire was contained to the room and no injuries were reported.
At 6:20 p.m. Sunday, firefighters were asked to check a possible carbon monoxide leak on a residence on Jewelwood Drive in Baxter.
