Cass Lake man sentenced to 11 years in prison
WALKER — A 50-year-old Cass Lake man was sentenced to 11 years in prison Monday in Cass County District Court, reported Cass County Attorney Christopher Strandlie.
Strandlie said that Richard Leslie Larsen was sentenced to serve 11 years in prison with a 10-year conditional release period.
A Cass County jury found Larsen guilty of three counts of second-degree criminal sexual conduct after a three-day trial in August in Walker. The charges arise from a May of 2011 complaint filed by the Cass County Attorney’s office, which alleged sexual contact with a person under 13 years of age.
