Drive One 4 UR School event planned Saturday
The Drive One 4 UR School event is scheduled Saturday to raise money for various Brainerd High School programs.
All that is needed to raise the money is for area residents to test drive a new Ford vehicle from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at Mills Ford in Baxter. For every test drive at the dealership that day, Ford Motor Company will donate $20 to Brainerd High School, up to a total of $6,000, or 300 test drives.
Brainerd High School will be using the funds to assist seven BHS organizations: wrestling, gymnastics, adapted floor hockey, dance team, the junior class cabinet, Spanish club and boys soccer.
There is no cost to test drive a vehicle, however, drivers must be 18 years old or older and have a valid driver’s license. There is a limit of one test drive per household. Other feature events of the day include a nationwide drawing for a 2013 Ford Escape, a car wash, and a bake sale. Hot dogs, pop and popcorn will also be available.
