Firefighters respond to Baxter house fire Sunday

Other calls include crash on South Sixth and Laurel streets

■ Firefighters respond to house fire in Baxter

BAXTER — A house fire in Baxter was reported about 9 a.m. Sunday on the 4900 block of Cedar Scenic Road.

The house was occupied but no injuries were reported and the fire was not extensive. The fire’s cause was undetermined as of Sunday afternoon. Firefighters had to remove siding to get to it. The Brainerd Fire Department was on the scene until 11:11 a.m. Estimated amount of damage to the home is $30,000.

■ Crash with injuries reported Sunday

The Brainerd Fire Department responded to a crash with injuries Sunday.

The crash was reported at 1:48 p.m. on South Sixth and Laurel streets. No extrication was needed.

■ Carbon monoxide concern triggers alarm

Firefighters responded to an early morning call, at 4:52 a.m. Sunday on the 100 block of Pine View Drive, for a carbon monoxide concern. A carbon monoxide leak was not found.
