EMILY — A 38-year-old Emily man was killed Tuesday when the vehicle he was driving rolled over near Crow Wing County Road (CR) 1 in Emily, reported the Crow Wing County Sheriff’s Office.
Brent Owen LeBlanc was pronounced dead at the scene.
It was reported that evidence at the one-vehicle rollover scene indicated that the vehicle was traveling east on CR 1 pulling a trailer. The vehicle failed to navigate a curve in the roadway, entered the right side ditch and rolled over. The driver of the vehicle appeared to have been ejected from the vehicle.
The crash was reported at 5:35 p.m. near the address on 21492 County Road 1.
Assisting the Crow Wing County Sheriff’s Department were the Crosslake Police Department, Minnesota State Patrol, Emily Fire Department, Emily First Responder, and the Crosby Ambulance Service.
The cause of the crash is being investigated by the sheriff’s office, the State
Patrol and the Ramsey County Medical Examiner’s Office.
