Lake Shore man killed in motorcycle crash

EAST GULL LAKE — A 42-year-old Lake Shore man was killed Friday in a motorcycle crash on Cass County Road 70 near East Gull Lake, reported Cass County Sheriff Tom Burch.

The man was identified as Clayton Houff on Monday by the sheriff’s office.

Officers responded to a report of a single motorcycle crash at 7:32 p.m. Friday. Life saving efforts were attempted but Houff was pronounced deceased on scene.

An autopsy is schedule with Ramsey County Medical Examiners Office.

The Cass County Sheriff’s Office was assisted at the scene by the Minnesota State Patrol, Lake Shore Police Department, North Memorial Ambulance and AirCare and the Brainerd Fire Department.
