■ Hill City man killed when truck runs off road

REMER — A 32-year-old Hill City man was killed Sunday when the Dodge Ram he was driving east on Highway 200, ran off the road, three miles east of Remer, reported the Minnesota State Patrol.

The man was identified as Robert A. King. It was reported that alcohol was detected in King’s system and that he was not wearing a seat belt.

The crash was reported at 10:37 p.m.

■ Two men injured when

vehicle runs off road into trees

MILACA — Two men were injured Saturday when the Saturn they were driving south on Highway 169 ran off the road and into the trees, four miles south of Milaca, reported the Minnesota State Patrol.

The driver, John Necklace, 59, Brooklyn Park, was taken to North Memorial Medical Center in Robbinsdale. Information on Necklace’s condition was not available Monday. It was reported that alcohol was detected in Necklace’s system.

Necklaces’s passenger Perry Necklace, 65, Minneapolis, had minor injuries and was taken to a hospital in Princeton.
