Brainerd could help pay for this project by putting up bleachers where the guy in the photo is standing, then sell tickets to watch the upcoming demolition derby.
Thats where
Pd & I are going to be the 1st snowy day lendad.
going to be so much fun to watch the semis
there are going to be a few flattened cars...those roundabouts are too small for starters. There are going to be traffic jams at the one on the west because it is too close to the stoplight.
terrible terrible design.
You have 2 roundabouts going into the college, yet you leave the main entrance open...WHY?
The minds behind this debacle were not brilliant ones
Having lived near Boston for awhile, we had Rotaries.
These consisted of two lanes, at speeds of up to 40 mph. If you got in the inside lane, you were doomed because you ended up going in circles for a long time. Many people jumped the median and headed straight for the other side until barriers were put up because of the accidents. These were always fun during rush hour because they could never handle the amount of traffic coming into a rotary from multiple directions at once. Unfortunately, I see similiar problems during the end of school, and weekends. If those bleachers get built, I have a portable heater, if someone can bring the barbque!
Like the MTA song, pdnet?
They will have to have training for people to learn to navigate.

I'll bring the BBQ! This could be more entertaining than tailgating at a football game.
Shades of Boston
This also reminded me of Boston. Yikes, I have relatives in
the East and make trips there. My sister hates driving in
Boston. If you make a mistake and are from out of state,
there is no sympathy.
I hope there aren't too many accidents.
Why did we have to have this ? I forgot what the need was.
Scary
I gotta give it to ya......you are pretty funny!

I thought a repaving of the road surface and maybe a walking bridge spanning over the road would have been sufficient without impeding traffic and costing a fortune.
I bet those people in the apartments are just thrilled about how close the cars are now. If someone goes off the road, they'll be in someone's bedroom.
