WASHINGTON (AP) — The purported theft of Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney’s tax returns has all the trappings of a high-tech whodunit: a politically themed burglary, a $1 million demand in hard-to-trace Internet currency, password-protected data and a threat to reveal everything in three more weeks. But can it be believed?
The Secret Service was investigating the case Thursday after someone claimed to have burglarized a PricewaterhouseCoopers accounting office in Franklin, Tenn., and stole two decades’ worth of Romney’s tax returns. Authorities are studying computer thumb drives that were delivered with an unusual demand: a $1 million payment in hard-to-trace “Bitcoin” Internet currency.
The plot in this mystery could be a hoax, but it surfaces at a critical moment during the 2012 presidential campaign amid the Republican and Democratic conventions.

Its one thing that the Mittster actually gave up one year of his tax returns that indicated he was paying about 13% ,due to Bush Tax Cut program effect on Capital Gains Taxes.
Now the GOP Party Platform calls for a COMPLETE ELIMINATION of Capital Gains Taxes.
Therefore the entire Republicon Party is pushing for the Mittsters effective tax rate to be less than 1%.
Again ,all you have to do is follow the money !

Lots of interesting fact checks on Obama's and Clinton's speeches especially regarding the LIE that Obama added four million jobs even as the civilian employment participation rate has dropped to its lowest level since 1981. But that's okay, according to Granholm, because the union at GM got theirs. Who cares if the GM bondholders, US taxpyayers, and a bunch of small businesses got the SHAFT?
