WHS class of 1951

The Washington High School class of 1951 will have its annual get together at Ernie’s on Gull from noon to 3 p.m. Sept. 10. Lunch and beverages will be available however for those who desire to eat earlier, Ernie’s begins serving at 11 a.m. For directions, go to www.erniesongull.com or for questions, call Dick at 829-4900.

Lake Hubert Grange community meeting

The Lake Hubert Grange will have a community meeting from 5-8 p.m. Friday at the former Lake Hubert School, 24093 Sunset Valley Road, Nisswa. Anyone who has belonged in the past to a grange or anyone who is wondering, come and see what the grange does. A membership person from the national grange will be there as well as some state people. Mission Possible Senior Club

The Mission Possible Senior Club will hold its regular monthly meeting at noon Wednesday at the Mission Town Hall. A potluck will be followed by music by John and Virginia Shogren. Backus American Legion breakfast

BACKUS — The Backus American Legion Auxiliary’s monthly breakfast will be Sept. 9 from 7:30-11:30 a.m. Cost: $6 for adults and $3 for children under 10.

Proceeds go toward active duty troop, veterans, community and other Auxiliary programs. The Legion post is at Highway 371 and 87 West.

Brainerd Elks Lodge breakfast

Brainerd Elks Lodge No. 615 will serve breakfast from 8 a.m. to noon Sunday at 215 South Ninth St., Brainerd. Order from the menu. All proceeds go to support Elks programs.
