Three cheers for Mike Petersen’s leadership and the great success of Barnstormer Days at Brainerd Airport!
Mike Petersen’s recent editorial guest column did a great job of summarizing an amazing community event and thanking all sponsors and volunteers. The only person that didn’t get thanked in Mike’s column was Mike himself, so thanks for your leadership Mike, from all of us who stopped out to enjoy the time-machine experience of going back to the golden age of aviation. The open-air, radial engine bi-planes were a real treat and the nostalgia created by the clothing, music, and overall atmosphere were a wonderful history lesson. This event was an example of “community” at its finest.
