Two ejected in Crosby crash
CROSBY — Two people were injured Sunday when the motorcycle they were riding lurched off the road and struck a downed tree in the ditch.
Donald Boyer, 68, Grand Rapids, and his passenger, Donnell Boyer, 65, his wife, were both ejected from the Honda Road-Start motorcycle trike and suffered non life-threatening injuries, the State Patrol reported. The vehicle sustained moderate damage.
The crash was reported at noon on Highway 6, about 1.8 miles north of Crosby. The Boyers were traveling north and pulled over to the shoulder of the road when the trike they were riding took off down the hill into a grassy ditch where it hit the tree. The Boyers were both wearing helmets and were taken to Cuyuna Regional Medical Center in Crosby.
