Firefighters respond
The Brainerd Fire Department responded to three calls Friday morning.
Firefighters were called at 1:45 a.m. to the Montessori School in Brainerd to check on a fire alarm. At 3:41 a.m., they were called to 813 Walnut St. to check on a residential smoke alarm. At 6:45 a.m., there was a gasoline spill from a vehicle on the south side of the Welcome Center on Highway 371.
