A motorcyclist suffered facial injuries and was transported by ambulance for further treatment after his vehicle was involved in a collision with a four-door sedan. The accident took place at about 8 a.m. Tuesday at the junction of Highways 210 and 371 in Baxter. A friend of the motorcyclist who was at the scene said he believed the injured party was from the Backus-Pine River area.

BAXTER — A motorcyclist suffered facial injuries shortly after 8 a.m. Tuesday when the motorcycle he was driving was involved in a collision with a Honda.

The accident took place in Baxter at the junction of Highways 210 and 371.

The motorcyle driver, Norman Armstrong of Pequot Lakes, was the only reported injured party. He was walking on his own but was taken away for treatment by North Ambulance. The other driver was Jeremy Armstrong of Rockford.

Responding to scene were the Baxter Police Department and Crow Wing County Sheriff’s Office.
