Little Falls man arrested in connection with overdose death
Morrison County Sheriff Michel Wetzel on Monday announced his office has arrested 44-year-old Warren John Okerman, of Little Falls, in connection with the death of 41-year-old Leslie Ellyn Peterson in Little Falls Township on June 2.
According to Wetzel, the Ramsey County Medical Examiner ruled that Peterson had died of a methamphetamine overdose. On Monday a Morrison County Sheriff’s investigator interviewed Okerman, who confessed to providing Peterson methamphetamine the evening she died.
Okerman is being held in the Morrison County Jail and the case has been referred to the Morrison County Attorney’s office for consideration of formal charges.
