Corn Feed is July 19
Corn on the cob with Cobbers is set for July 19, when Concordia College, Moorhead, holds a corn feed in the Brainerd-Baxter area. The event is for all Concordia alumni, students, parents, friends and prospective students in the area. The corn feed is at 5:30 p.m., at Loren Thompson Park, 13015 Kingwood Drive, Baxter.
Concordia provides the corn, along with butter, salt and napkins at no charge. Interested persons are asked to bring a dish to share for potluck. Barbecues and beverages will also be provided. Cobber Corn Feeds are an annual tradition throughout the country. They allow Concordia students, alumni and friends to renew friendships, make new acquaintances and learn more about what is currently happening at the college. This June through Sept. 24, corn feeds are being held in 11 states.
Concordia College is a four-year liberal arts college of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America offering more than 60 majors, including 18 honors majors and 12 preprofessional programs.
