Man found dead in parking lot
A 67-year-old Nisswa man was found dead in his vehicle Saturday morning in the parking lot at Walgreens in Brainerd, Brainerd Police Chief Corky McQuiston said Monday.
McQuiston said the man, James Kelley, was found slumped over and was unresponsive in the driver’s seat. The vehicle was entered and it was determined that Kelley was deceased.
McQuiston said that foul play is not suspected. The body was transported to the Ramsey County Medical Examiner’s Office for a determination of the cause of death.
The incident was reported at 7:50 a.m. by an employee of Walgreens.
The Brainerd Fire Department, Baxter Police Department and the Crow Wing County Sheriff’s Office responded tot he incident.
