Is it legal to be trapping at this time of year?
He was on an atv,
so fishhead is safe.
@pdnet15 - A trapper?
Nuisance Beaver Trapping is legal if beaver damage is occurring on your land, you as the landowner or occupant, may shoot or trap the animals without a permit or license (Minnesota Statute 97B.655).
Whether it is trapping season
Whether it is trapping season or not is irrelevant at this time. A person died and a family is grieving. Show some respect and empathy.
So sorry...
There is a family grieving, I offer my prayers to help ease your pain.
a man dies doing something he
a man dies doing something he probably loved and people still bash on him because they dont understand. unbeliveable
I wasn't criticizing, I was just curious about trapping laws.
But you are right, a man died, and now others have to pick up the pieces.
This breaks my heart & I'm still in shock
This was a great man & he will be greatly missed. I've know this man for almost 30 years & our hearts go out to his family. You are all in our prayers & I can't express enough of how sorry I am for your loss.
Does it really matter whether
Does it really matter whether or not what he was doing was legal? People kill others, and sometimes themselves, while driving drunk, and we still grieve them. Trapping beavers on your property IS legal if they are causing problems, and he may have even had a permit from the county to do so on property other than his own. We are from this area and know this man, and in our hearts, legallity is the last thing we are worried about. We are sorry for their loss, and sorry you are too ignorant to realize how stupid you sound asking such a question.
