LITTLE FALLS — A 63-year-old Little Falls man has been sentenced to 27 months in prison for second-degree assault with a dangerous weapon, reported the Morrison County Attorney’s Office.
Johnny Lee Huff pled guilty Wednesday and was sentenced by Judge Douglas P. Anderson in Morrison County District Court in Little Falls. County Attorney Brian Middendorf summarized the case, reporting that Huff was out drinking with two friends on March 2 in Little Falls. After leaving a local bar, the three ended up in Huff’s apartment where an argument broke out. The two friends left the apartment at Huff’s request. Huff followed them outside and confronted the two after they had gotten in a car. Huff reached through the car’s window with a box cutter and cut one of the men in the face. The victim sustained a cut requiring 16 stitches to close.
