The VFW Post No. 1647 and Auxiliary wish to say thank you to each and every person who donated to our members promoting the VFW Buddy Poppies. Even though the economy is not the best, most everyone donated. Because of these donations we can continue to help our veterans and their families. Most of these donations are used for veterans and their families. Most of these donations are used for veterans and their families in our local area. We do donate to the Minneapolis and St. Cloud VA Hospitals. Local veterans still have appointments and take the van to their destination. We also donate to the Armed Service Center at the Minneapolis Airport. The veterans can relax and enjoy the coffee and snacks while they wait for their flight. All donations we receive are used for veterans, most of it locally.
