BAXTER — A 17-year-old Eagan girl was injured in a two-vehicle rear-end crash at 12:16 p.m. Monday on Highway 371, north of Barbeau Road, reported the Minnesota State Patrol.
It was reported that the Honda Accord driven by Ralph Michels, 53, Apple Valley, and a Dodge van driven by Tyler Tanner, 34, Blackfoot, Idaho, were both traveling south on Highway 371, when the Honda was following too close and ran into a utility trailer being pulled by the van when traffic slowed. None of the drivers were injured.
Elizabeth Prokop, Michels’ passenger, was transported to Essentia Health St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Brainerd. Information on Prokop was unavailable Monday night.
The Crow Wing County Sheriff’s Office assisted at the scene.
