U.S. Sen. Amy Klobuchar will be in Little Falls on Sunday afternoon (May 27) to participate in the annual memorial service at the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery.
The ceremony begins shortly before 2 p.m. with the traditional parade of flags.
The Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery is located at 15550 Highway 115, adjacent to Highway 371, north of Little Falls.
On her way to Little Falls, at 11:30 a.m., Klobuchar will be in Clear Lake for a visit to McDonald’s Meats, a full-service meat market with award-winning fresh and smoked meats, including many varieties of jerky.
Klobuchar plans to feature some of their products at the weekly “Minnesota Morning” get-together she conducts every Thursday morning at her Senate office in Washington (when Congress is in session).
The longtime family-owned business is located at 8601 Main Avenue in Clear Lake.
