Firefighters respond
The Brainerd Fire Department responded to a call at 7:43 p.m. Wednesday to a vehicle fire where a person was trapped along Business Highway 371, just south of Brainerd. It was reported that the vehicle fire caused a small grass fire. No one was hurt.
Firefighters cleared the scene at 8:23 p.m.
Firefighters also responded to a call at 1:48 p.m. Thursday, again to 14136 Baxter Dr., the new Dunham Sports building. Firefighters again were canceled en route to the scene.
