Posted: May 7, 2012 - 7:08pm

The Brainerd Police Department responded to more than a dozen calls Saturday where vehicles and a house were egged in the northeast and southeast parts of the city.

Calls began at 2:53 a.m. and poured in through the early morning hours and throughout Saturday to about 8 p.m.

The streets where the vehicles were hit were on the 1400 and 1800 blocks of Pine Street, 700 block of North Seventh Street, 800 block of 11th Avenue Northeast; three vehicles on the 900 block of Fourth Avenue Northeast, the 600 block of North 10th Street, the 1100 and 1200 blocks of Quince Street, 600 block of Second Avenue Northeast and the 700 block of Bluff Avenue.

Brainerd Police Chief Corky McQuiston said it does not appear that anyone was targeted in the crime. McQuiston also said that he could not say if the crimes were linked.

Anyone with information on the egging incidents are asked to call the police at 829-2805.
