June 1 is deadline for rental housing registration in city of Brainerd

Property owners have until June 1 to register their rental units. If you own or manage rental units located in the city of Brainerd and haven’t received an information packet including registration forms or have questions regarding the status of your rental licenses, call the Department of Building Safety at 828-2309.

Rental property owners who fail to register are subject to fines. The registration fee is $32 per dwelling (i.e. a duplex is two dwellings, triplex is three, etc.)
