Isle resident suffers injury in crash

A 25-year-old Isle woman suffered a non-life threatening injury when the vehicle she was driving ran off the road in Aitkin County.

The crash was reported at 8:53 p.m. Saturday on Highway 18, two miles west of Malmo.

The driver, Lisa Jackson, who was the sole occupant, was traveling west on Highway 18 in a GMC Yukon. She lost control and ran off the road. The vehicle rolled on its side. The vehicle was severely damaged.

Jackson was taken to Riverwood Healthcare Center in Aitkin. She was not wearing a seat belt. The state patrol reported alcohol was detected in her system.
