The fifth annual Brainerd Jaycees Run for the Lakes will be held in Nisswa on April 27-28.
Race events include a kids’ fun run, 5K, half, full, and relay marathons, and a 10K.
This year’s marathon course will have a new start and finish line. The full marathon is a qualifier for the Boston Marathon and the course is USA Track & Field Certified. The Minnesota Pacers Team will pace the full and half marathon races.
The success of Run for the Lakes depends on the local communities coming together to support the race. There are many ways people can get involved. Assistance is needed in various areas such as water stops, traffic control, finish line and registration.
Anyone interested in supporting Run for the Lakes by volunteering should email email@example.com.
