Jury trial reset for man in armed robbery case
WADENA — The jury trial for a 24-year-old man, charged with first-degree aggravated robbery that took place Jan. 25 at the Staples Self Serve Station, was rescheduled in Wadena County District Court.
The judge set the new jury trial date for Joshua James McKenna, who has no permanent address, for May 30, with a jury roll call date set May 4.
McKenna allegedly entered Staples Self Serve brandishing a handgun and demanding money. He did not discharge the handgun and no one was hurt. McKenna alledgedly took an undisclosed amount of money before fleeing from the store.
