Brainerd firefighters respond
The Brainerd Fire Department responded to two grass fires Wednesday.
The first grass fire was called at 2:44 p.m. at Travis Trail and Timberjack Drive, south of Brainerd. It was reported that the grass fire was out of control and that a vehicle also was on fire. The second fire was reported at 5:38 p.m. on 6948 Crow Wing County Road 2 that was threatening a structure.
