The Central Lakes College honors earth science class taught by Dave Kobilka on March 29 went to Onamia to teach fifth grade pupils some aspects of the hydrologic cycle — surface water flow, evaporation, cloud formation, cloud types, precipitation and surface-heating.

CLC honors AA student Tatiana Park, Brainerd, taught relative humidity as part of the service learning project.

At another experiment, the Onamia students didn’t find the smell of an artificial cloud too pleasant.
