Little Falls Senior Center happenings

LITTLE FALLS — The Little Falls Senior Center will host its monthly pancake, sausage and egg breakfast and bargain bin sale from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. April 1. Cost is $5 for adults; age 6-10 is $2.50 and age 5 and under is free.w

The center will host its Easter bingo party at 12:45 p.m. April 4 for its members. Door prizes will be given away. A meal will be served at 11:45 a.m. For the meal, make reservations for before noon the previous day by calling (320) 632-8200 or between 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday or from 3:30-5:30 p.m. Monday and Thursday.

Outstanding Senior Volunteer Citizen of Crow Wing County

The Lakes Area Senior Activity Center will be coordinating the Outstanding Senior Volunteer Citizen of Crow Wing County. If your business or organization has a senior volunteer you would like to nominate, forms are now available at the senior center. Eligibility criteria is the nominee must be a resident of Minnesota, volunteer service must be accomplished after reaching age 65, must be age 70 by June 1, must currently do a volunteer activity that is unpaid and demonstrates commitment to the local community, a previous county winner not chosen as the state winner is eligible; however, a 2012 nomination form must be completed, and you may only nominate one individual per nomination form. Couple nominations will be disqualified. Deadline to submit a nomination is May 31.
