COOK, Minn. (AP) — St. Louis County authorities say a snowmobiler who was reported missing overnight has been found with severe injuries.
The sheriff's office says 41-year-old John Bastian of Mankato was riding with a group of snowmobilers Friday evening on the Arrowhead Snowmobile Trail near Cook. He got separated from the group, and after he failed to show up at his destination he was reported missing.
A Duluth News Tribune report (http://bit.ly/xDnalS ) says a passer-by on the Arrowhead Trail called 911 on Saturday about 9 a.m. reporting that he'd found Bastian.
The victim has been hospitalized with unspecified injuries.

He got seperated from the group, perhaps they didnt take the same path back, it happened in the evening, its dark, someone found him early the next morning.. that is actually pretty good considering missing people can take days to find. He's pretty lucky considering someone wanted to take one last cruise on the sled before it hit 50 degrees and all the snow melts!
Right
So perhaps they all learned from this experience..
