Motley man injured in vehicle crash
A 34-year-old Motley man was injured after being involved in a one-vehicle crash at 9:16 p.m. Monday at 719 Brian Lane in Brainerd, reported the Brainerd Police Department.
The man was taken to Essentia Health St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Brainerd to be treated for his injuries. The hospital had no information available on his condition Tuesday. The police reported that the man was cited for fourth-degree driving while intoxicated.
Infant boy still critical
BAXTER — An infant, who was injured in Sunday’s crash at the intersection of Highways 371 and 210 in Baxter, continued to be in critical condition Tuesday at North Memorial Medical Center in Robbinsdale.
The child, Braxton Cherry, is the son of the minivan driver, Jason Cherry, 32, Staples, the Minnesota State Patrol reported. The minivan had six occupants, where Cherry and four of his passengers, all from Staples, were taken to Essentia Health-St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Brainerd where they were treated and then released. The other passenger, Nicole Mollner, 31, was taken to the hospital, but information on her condition was not released.
