DULUTH, Minn. (AP) — The snow storm that dumped nearly a foot of snow on parts of northern Minnesota could be a taste of what's ahead this week.
The National Weather Service in Duluth issued a winter storm watch for northeastern Minnesota and northwestern Wisconsin Tuesday afternoon through Wednesday. Blizzard and storm watches extend to the south and west, including the northern part of the Twin Cities, Brainerd, St. Cloud and Eau Claire, Wis.
Forecasters say 15 to 20 inches of snow could fall in central Minnesota with lesser amounts north and south.
The Duluth News Tribune (http://bit.ly/zpuPag ) says totals from Sunday's storm include 6 to 10 inches in northern Lake and Cook counties and 4 to 8 inches in northern and central St. Louis County.
