Lakeland Public Television announced Lakeland kids appreciation day on March 3.
The day will be celebrated with meet-and-greet events in Bemidji and Brainerd beginning at 10 a.m.
Families will have the opportunity to meet Buddy the T-Rex from the popular Lakeland Kids program “Dinosaur Train” at the Paul Bunyan Mall in Bemidji and Clifford the Big Red Dog at the Westgate Mall in Brainerd.
Parents are encouraged to bring their own cameras for photo opportunities with Buddy and Clifford.
In an effort to encourage reading amongst families, Kitchigami Regional Library staff will hold several story time breaks throughout the morning at each event.
Both events will have prize drawings throughout the morning.
