Suspect in home invasion was husband of a victim
BLUE EARTH, Minn. (AP) — Authorities say the man accused of killing one person and injuring three others in a home invasion in Blue Earth is the husband of one of the victims.
The Bureau of Criminal Apprehension says the man is in the Faribault County Jail awaiting charges. Authorities say he's the husband of 38-year-old Candice Marie Freeman of Ceylon.
Freeman, her 19-year-old daughter, Brittany Kay Devary, and Freeman's 15-year-old daughter were injured in the attack and are at St. Marys Hospital in Rochester.
Their conditions are not being released.
A 37-year-old man died. His name hasn't been released and an autopsy is being conducted.
Authorities say Freeman's husband wore a mask, then entered the home in Blue Earth and bludgeoned the victims with a tool or tools.
A 6-year-old girl was uninjured.
