The iBedirod for Youth is a mattress race fundraiser for Kinship Partners and Ski Gull. On Sunday, 13 teams raised money to compete by racing down the tubing hill on a mattress fastened to tubes.
Fastest team: 1. Hazardous - Anderson Brothers; 2. Asset Builders - Working Together Coalition; 3. Death Star Wookie.
Best Costume: 1. Close-Converse Clowns; 2. Hey Diddle Diddle; 3. Sweet Tarts.
Most Pledges: 1. Clifton Larson Allen; 2. Paul Bunyan & Babe the Blue Ox Gang; 3. The Ninjas - Brainerd High School Key Club.
The amount raised wasn’t available Tuesday. Net proceeds from the event will go to Ski Gull, Kinship Partners, and United Way’s Youth as Resources for youth programs with a dedication to helping youth in area communities succeed and develop healthy lifestyles.
