GENERAL INFORMATION:
STUDENTS ATTENDING THE DREAM ALIVE PROGRAM AT CLC ON TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 7: The buses will be loading outside of the main doors immediately after first hr. Unless you have specific permission from Linda Dockter or Mr. Jacobson all students will be expected to bus to and from CLC for the program. Upon your return please report immediately to your 4th hour class or A lunch.
THE 2ND ANNUAL DRESS SWAP IS COMING TO BRAINERD HIGH SCHOOL on February 25th -11:00 am to 2 pm in the A Commons. It is a great opportunity to purchase gently used dresses at an extremely low cost. There is no cost to attend. Fabulous door prizes will be available and you need not be present to win. This event is sponsored by Key Club and the Interact Club. If you would like to sell gently clean used dresses, drop off will begin between the hours of 8am to 3:30pm from February 20th - 24th .
TEEN AND ADULT HIP HOP AND BREAK DANCE Are you ready to get your swag on? Learn hip hop fundamentals with a focus on rhythm, coordination and hip hop choreography. Learn the basics, some breakdance moves and find your own style while getting a great workout. Don't feel insecure if you are a first time dancer, it's about finding a style that is all your own and having fun! The location is Forestview Middle School from Feb 6 - Mar 5/Mondays, 4:15-5 pm or 5:15-6 pm ; 6 sessions for $20. If you are interested, register with Community Education, 454-6924.
CURLING INTRO FOR AGES 10-18: Are you and your friends looking for something new? Come check out this cool sport! We will play with rocks and brooms using strategy and teamwork. Learn curling rules and play games at the new Brainerd Curling Arena at the Fairgrounds. Sat, Feb 4-25 9:30-11:30 am (4 sessions) Cost is $25. STUDENT IDs ARE HERE FROM PICTURE RETAKES and may be picked up in the media center. There are many student IDs from the original picture day. Please stop by the media center if you have not yet picked up your student ID.
SERTOMA LIFTATHON: The 22nd Annual Sertoma Liftathon will take place on Wednesday, February 29th and Thursday, March 1st. All students in grades 8-12 are eligible to participate in this fundraising event to support charitable organizations in the Brainerd area. There is no cost to participate. See Mr. Anderson, Ms. Fussy, or after school weight room staff to register. Registration deadline is Friday, February 10th.
BRAINERD WARRIOR DANCE TEAM FANS! Get a spot on the fan bus for the Section Meet in Elk River this Saturday February 4th. Tickets are $15. The bus will leave and return from the Just For Kix studio in Baxter on Saturday morning at 7:30 am and return at 6:00 pm. Admission into the competition and any food for the day will be additional costs that you are responsible for. Please sign up and pay Shelly in the Main Office. Checks should be made to Just For Kix. Seats cannot be reserved without payment. Go Kixters !

TEENS FOR JEANS: Interact and Key clubs are collecting gently worn jeans for teens. This is a national campaign through Aeropostale and the jeans will be donated to teens throughout the United States. There are collection boxes in the main offices of both South and North BHS Campuses and in Linda Dockter's office. Collection dates are Feb.1 to 10. Please look through your closets and bring in your gently worn (maybe out grown) jeans.

THERE WILL BE A MANDATORY GIRL'S LACROSSE MEETING on Wednesday, February 8th, in the South Conference Room beginning at 3:30pm.
