Discovery Woods Montessori School, a free public charter school in Baxter, opened enrollment for the 2012-13 school year Wednesday, Feb. 1, with applications for available spots offered online at discoverywoods.com.
Discovery Woods is hosting an open house from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. for prospective kindergarten parents, and 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. for first- through sixth-grade prospective parents Thursday at the school, 810 N.W. Seventh St., Brainerd.
There are still plenty of spots open for kindergartners and limited spaces for first through sixth-grade slots, the school reported.
