Crow Wing County and the city of Crosslake are hosting a public information meeting to discuss preliminary design features and a project introduction of the proposed improvement of Crow Wing County State Aid Highway 3 from the junction with Crow Wing County Highway 37 in the city of Crosslake to Crow Wing County Highway 1 in the city of Fifty lakes.
The proposed improvement is to reconstruct 5.9 miles of roadway. Construction starting in 2014 is to be considered. The majority of the roadway will remain on its existing alignment, but curve corrections will cause realignments in appropriate areas.
Maps and other pertinent information relating to this project will be available for public inspection at the public information meeting scheduled for 6 p.m. Monday at Crosslake City Hall, 37028 County Road 66.
Following presentation of the proposed County Highway No. 3 improvements, Crosslake Communications will make a presentation regarding infrastructure and technology improvements made during the past decade and proposed future infrastructure improvements and customer services.
