Two 23-year-old men continue to be in critical condition Wednesday at North Memorial Medical Center in Robbinsdale after being injured in a two-vehicle crash Jan. 14 on Crow Wing County Road 49, also known as Wise Road, near Ponds Edge Trail just north of Brainerd.
Justin Don Dechon of Litchfield, the driver, and Jacob Steven Steininger of Brainerd, Dechon’s passenger, were both unresponsive at the scene, reported the Crow Wing County Sheriff’s Department. The Brainerd Fire Department had to extricate them from their vehicle.
